One of the best things about being a woman is being pampered. Make your
bride-to-be feel pampered by throwing her a spa-themed wedding hen night. A day at the spa will get rid of wedding jitters and will provide a great opportunity for bonding. Nowadays, you can choose whether you'd want to celebrate the party at a spa or have the spa come to you. In planning where to spend the party, think of the location which would be convenient for everyone, especially for the guest of honor. You could spend it at your house, or at the house of a relative or a friend. Call the spa ahead of time and arrange for spa specialists around three days or a week before the party. This way, you won't have to worry about fitting the party into a specific schedule. Ask for their services so that you'll know what to expect-usually spas provide stations for back massages, foot massages, pedicures, manicures, paraffin wraps, facial and skin treatments, and their specialty treatments. Prepare the food yourself or have them catered-this way the guests can enjoy drinks and yummy desserts as they move from one station to the next. Choose foods which are mess-free. Finger foods are great-crackers, cookies, and chocolate truffles are some examples. You can also serve fresh fruits. You could also spend a day at the bride-to-be's favorite spa. Although, a day would probably be not enough for all those pampering treatments-a weekend would be more preferable. If money is not a problem, you could go to five-star spas. Remember, though, that the time is meant for bonding with the bride-to-be and her closest friends so if you don't want to spend money, you can opt for budget-friendly spas. The main point is for everybody to feel pampered. Of course, don't forget the party favors. If you have the money, you can opt for personalized terry robes with the initials of each guests embroidered into each robe. You can also make a personalized party bag with a spa theme to it. Put in aromatherapy candles, nail polish, travel sized lotion, bath scrubs or salts, and certificates to a spa. A spa-themed wedding hen night is sure to make everybody happy. It could take some of the worries off the bride-to-be's mind before her wedding. It would make everyone feel everyone relaxed, and not to mention beautiful, just in time for the wedding.
